Dog Run Installation: Smithtown NY 11787, by Gappsi

This dog run was installed in Smithtown Long Island NY by Gappsi. A dog run is useful for giving your dog a safe and happy environment to play in while also maintaining a clean back yard. This dog run is built with a black chain link fence to keep the dog within the specific area. A synthetic turf is then laid across the selected area within the fence. The turf allows easy clean up and prevents a muddy environment. Using a prepared rca base and using a high quality durable turf with a double-coated backing makes it extremely difficult for any tear. The turf allows easy drainage for liquid waste and allows easy clean up for solid waste. To clean up any dog run a simple hose down is all that is needed.

Patio and Walkway Sealing: Wyandanch NY 11798, by Gappsi

Patio and Walkway Sealing: Wyandanch NY 11798, by Gappsi

Patio, walkway, and front steps were built by Gappsi in Wyandanch Long Island, NY in Suffolk County. The stone used is over-sized ridge brick and ridge circle pavers in a golden brown blend. The pavers are mixed randomly in square and rectangular sizes. This stone has a textured riven surface and slightly chamfered edges. The sealing process begins with pressure washing the entire patio, removing all dirt and debris from the stone surface and in between the joints. Next, Nexgel Techniseal synthetic sand is applied in between the pavers joints and vibrated with a mechanical plate compactor. The plate compactor has rubber rollers to prevent the stones from cracking or scratching. This vibrating process allows the sand to fall in between the joints to densify. Then, we clean the pavers with brooms and landscape blowers, to clean the excess sand from the pavers surface and to evenly spread the sand in between the pavers joints. The next step is to wash the pavers by misting water to penetrate the synthetic sand into the paver joints all the way down below the pavers. The sand and water activate a chemical reaction of the pollen that’s in the sand to cause the sand to harden. Finally, the application of the sealer. A two parts components urethane dealer, specially formulated for Gappsi, is applied to the pavers surface and the sand joints to prevent stones from staining, extend their life cycle and further enhance their texture, color, and surface.

Fiberglass Swimming Pool: Installed by Gappsi inc. Lawrence NY 11559

Fiberglass Swimming Pool: Installed by Gappsi inc. Lawrence NY 11559

V (1)Hours of construction and design building led the Gappsi group to create a Thursday Goliath 16×37 fiberglass swimming pool with a 3/8 bluestone gravel base that was installed for the under layer of the pool shell for stabilization. Once the pool was adjusted and numerous factors were considered, the pool was then lifted and dropped in place. After installation, Gappsi associates placed solar tubes around the perimeter of the pool to increase support for the concrete slab of the patio base. This fiberglass swimming pool was installed by Gappsi in Lawrence NY 11559, located on the south shore of Nassau County Long Island. Due to the areas high water table the pool needed to be elevated, and many yards of fill were delivered to raise the grade of the property. We faced many challenges installing this fiberglass pool because of its size and weight. The delivery was the main obstacle because due to the size of this pool, 16×37, it was very costly to cross bridges and drive on highways. Due to the size of this magnificent pool we needed 2 police car escorts to the job site.
The patio pavers used for this job were the Melfi Limestone. This unique stone is an earthy, multi-toned masterpiece; shades of beige, green, brown. and gray bring natural tones to the design. The stones are strategically placed in a Vincenza pattern along with a 2 inch thick random coping for the pool edge. The Melfi Limestone, and many other stones, are exclusively available at Gappsi. The stones are a beautiful contrast to the sapphire blue liner inside the pool. Plus assorted flowers and trees bring in pops of color and interest to the backyard area.
To enhance the aesthetic of the Thursday Goliath fiberglass swimming pool a safety auto cover was installed. The sleek blue auto cover allows customers to easily protect the pool by simply turning a key. The Goliath, 16×37 is 3.8” to 6’8”deep which makes this fiberglass pool a non-diving pool, however, the pool can be used for a plethora of reasons. It’s Olympic inspired shape is perfect for a morning workout swim, play water activities/sports with the kids, and allows family and friends to lounge on the extended benches and steps that are molded in the pool shell by the manufacture.
